From 10 to 11 a.m. this Saturday, the Putnam Hospital Center’s maternity department will offer a Pets and the Newborn Class in its Birthing Center, located at the hospital at 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel.

This special class will offer tips on how to introduce your house pet to your newborn infant. Emphasis will be placed on including that first fourlegged

“baby” into your family unit.

Class sizes are limited and there is no fee for this course, however, registration is required. To register or for more information about the hospital’s expanded series of childbirth and parenting classes, please call the Birthing Center at Putnam Hospital Center at 845-279-5711, Ext. 2519.
